Lucille Mae Cunningham

Child Actress during the height of Stock Theatre in Grand Rapids. Lucille was a student of the Fealy School of Dramatic Expression 1926–1928. She trod the boards with Maude Fealy, Dean Jagger, Spencer Tracy, Selena Royle, Walter Vaughn and so many more in her short career in stock theatre as a local girl in Grand Rapids. She was invited to Hollywood to further her talents but her parents thought it best not to chase such notions, so she stayed in Grand Rapids, grew up and raised a family. The only time she came close to the movies was working the concession stand for the Poisson family at the Eastown and 4-Star Theatres; 1936–1939.
